Following the opening of the 41,000 sq. ft Men’s Superbrands department in December 2018, the International Designer Room is the second phase of the redevelopment of Harrods Menswear.
Drawing on a subtle references to Harrods own archive and classic men’s tailoring, our design continues the journey from Superbrands, with a classical colour palette and refined layering of materials.
White Carrera and grey marble create a checkboard floor that navigates the way throughout the space, with overhead lighting encased in a fretwork frame punctuated with alabaster stepped lights at each junction. Black Nero Marquina marble marks the entrance to each brand boutique, which are flanked by prism lighting recessed in stone and framed in bronze.
